Join Juan Cajandig, PRISM Senior Risk Control Specialist, CSP, CFPS, MAS, ARM for Developing Effective Control Measures 

Course description:

  • The risk management process is explained in detail; risk control is defined.
  • Both types of hazards are reviewed: unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • Focus is placed on reading and understanding loss run reports; seeing trends, and using the data to prevent future losses.
  • The hierarchy of controls and return on investment (ROI) are explained and how they can be used to develop effective loss controls.
  • Students are coached on setting goals, using ROI, creating an executive summary, and developing a loss prevention plan when communicating with senior management.

This course may be bundled with Accident Investigation Parts 1 & 2, Safety and the Supervisor, Learning the GISO’s, Workers Compensation for Supervisors, and Safety Management – What is it? to complete  the Safety Management Training Series.
