Session One: What Insurance Do You Want in Your Contract?

Session Description: Speaker will discuss how to identify key components of agreements, questions to prioritize your risks, and how to verify you are receiving accurate information.

- Learn a process for effective contractual risk transfer, including how to identify good and bad hold-harmless agreements
- Learn insurance specifications to get you the protection you need with the least hassle, and how to verify what you receive is what you asked for
- Participants will receive sample specifications, forms, and checklists to assist them in their efforts
Session Two: Government Claims Act Overview
Speaker: Daniel P. Barer, Partner, Pollak, Vida & Barer
Session Description: This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the Government Claims Act. The presentation is designed to accommodate both individuals new to public entity liability claims and those with more experience seeking a refresher on key concepts and updates.
