Liability Program Manager
PERMA is a California Joint Powers Authority (JPA) made up of 32 public entities including cities, transit districts, and special districts.
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Liability Program Manager is responsible for PERMA’s liability program. This at-will, full-time position is responsible for planning, managing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the liability program. The Manager will oversee the liability claim handling third party administrator, or staff, be accountable for trend identification, assistance in the design of loss control programs and reporting, and member relations related to liability claims. The position will not regularly adjust claims but may occasionally manage overflow.
Salary Range: $131,829 to $176,662 annually
Retirement: CalPERS Classic 2.7% @ 55, PEPRA 2% @ 62
Health: CalPERS medical, dental, vision, disability
